Cedar police investigate armed holdup CEDAR CITY Cedar City police are investigating in-vestigating the armed robbery early Sunday morning of the Husky Pop Shoppe in Cedar City. According to police reports a man described as being 5'9", 150 lbs. entered the shop at approximately ap-proximately 9:57 a.m. brandishing a small caliber automatic pistol and ordered clerk Linda DeMille of Cedar City to hand over all the money. He told her," I'm serious as a heart attack," at-tack," said the police report. He then demanded that DeMille lay on the floor until he was gone. The armed suspect then fled with $389 in small bills. The suspect is described as being 25 to 35 years old, dark complected with black hair. Police are searching sear-ching for a small compact com-pact car, silver in color, with Oregon plates. The car was beleived to have been seen in the Panguitch area. Persons with any information in-formation regarding the suspect or the vehicle are asked to contact the Cedar City Police Dept. Police are also investigating in-vestigating the burglary of Cedar Builder's Supply. The break-in was discovered Sunday morning, but apparently a pair of gloves was the only thing taken. |
