Show Ranger says fire danger down Thunderstorm activity during the past month has greatly reduced the immediate chances of a wildfire on the Dixie National Forest according ac-cording to Cedar City District Ranger Rollo H. Brunson. He mentioned with the coming of summer, this condition will soon change as the warmer weather causes the Forest fuels to dry out. Man's carelessness caused 46 percent of the wildfires occuring on the Cedar City Ranger District last summer, he said and asked that firewood gatherers, recreation users, fishermen, and other Forest visitors use extreme ex-treme caution with fire during the summer months.
