Show Resident guides change After May 11, persons must reside in Utah six months or longer to obtain ob-tain a resident hunting or fishing license. The 1981 Legislature . changed the residency requirements from 60 days to six months to be uniform with residency requirements of other western states. With the exception of Wyoming (one year) and Washington (90 days), the other western states have a six-month residency requirement. Pictured are the winners of the weekend best-ball golf tournament of Painted Hills.
