Show West German professor featured at conference Dr. Winfried Boehm, distinguished professor . and chairman of education at Wuertzburg Uiversity in West Germany, Ger-many, will be the featured speaker at Brigham Young University's upcoming conference on i educational philosophy, i The conference, titled ! "Educational Philosopy-; Philosopy-; Impact and Directions for I the Future," will be held i July 29-31, Aug. 5-7 and 12- 14. It will examine various educational philosophies and the impact they have on individuals and societies, according to Ralph V. Larson, coordinator of the conference. Dr. Boehm, who has traveled throughout Europe as a visiting lecturer, recently returned from a speaking tour of South America and is scheduled to lecture lec-ture in China in a few months. An educator of international reputation, he recently co-authored a book with Pope John Paul II. "This is definitely a rare opportunity for educators and others in this area," said Dr. Blaine Porter, BYU professor of family living.
