They all enjoyed en-joyed a lovely dinner, exchanging ex-changing presents and door prizes were given to a few lucky people. Betty Jimenez was lucky for the first time in winning a door prize and came home with a lovely punch bowl set. Winnie Johnson had a lovely Thanksgiving visit from her nephew and family. John and Sherrie Fernley and son Mike came from Corona, California for the Thanksgiving weekend. They were joined for dinner by Warren and Seralda Fernley. They all had a very nice visit. Thanksgiving visitors at the home of John and Jean Hanley were two of their sons and families. Brian and Sherilyn and family of Salt Lake and Kevin and Debbie and Jack from Salt Lake. Jeanette Kohler returned last weekend from a trip to Salt Lake City where she spent Thanksgiving with her daughter Madeline and James Mash and family. I After she had returned home she got the good news that she had become a great grandmother for the first time. Her granddaughter Becky (Mash) and husband Don Higginson had a baby boy on November 30th. He weighed in at 5 lbs and 4 oz. and will be named Matthew. Mat-thew. Visitors at the home of Rowena Winn over the Thanksgiving Holidays were son Calvin and his friend from Torrence, Calif., son Darcy from Salt Lake City, j and some of her grandchild-it grandchild-it ren from Salt Lake, and daughter Becky and Robert Smith and familyfrom Bountiful, Boun-tiful, Utah. Silver Desert Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers had their meeting on November No-vember 24,at the home of Bobble James. Bobbie and Wanda Treat were the hostesses. host-esses. A delightful surprise baby shower was held on Thursday December 3rd, for Diane Powell at the Catholic Church, and she was really surprised. The party was hostesed by Maxine Cox, Sherrie Yardley, Carla Stewart, Ste-wart, Bobbie James, and Maurine Yardley. Bobbie James made two special cakes for the occasion and they had games, visited and then Diane opened her presents. pre-sents. A really nice time was had by all. The Milford Special Interest In-terest Group met at the LDS Church Friday, December 4th for their Christmas Party. They had a Potluck dinner and enjoyed a real nice visit together. John and Betty Jimenez traveled to Provo Saturday and spent the day there and then went on over to Hiawatha Hia-watha that evening to spend Saturday night and Sunday with Robert and Ron! Jimenez, Jim-enez, Dawn, Lincoln and April. April had just celebrated cele-brated her second birthday December the 4th. They also visited James and Shelley Stewart and Stirling and in Price they visited with Betty's uncle CliffordSmith. There was a nice write up about Dennis Cox in the five county news section of the Sunday Spectrum and in the Sunday Outlook the Yee's and the Hong KongCafewere featured with a picture of Joe on the cover and the whole family on the inside. Ralph Heer has joined the National Guard and spent this weekend doing his first training session in Beaver. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bell-iston Bell-iston enjoyed the company of the following for the Thanksgiving weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Smith and cjn Scott from San Jose, Calif.; their son Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Belliston from Blanding, Utah, and Ray's sister Maxine Belliston from Nephi, Utah. After Thanksgiving, Thanks-giving, Dennis and children returned to Blanding, Ray and Lucile took Pam to Salt Lake City for a check up with her doctor. Then on to Blanding for a visit.
