Truman, of Miners-ville, Miners-ville, have bren called to go on a mission to the Cebu Phillipine Islands. Their date for departure is November 18th. They will report to the Missionary Training Center Cen-ter in Provo, Utah. They will spend one month becoming becom-ing oriented In such matters as lesson presentation, country, location, and people. Karl and Phyllis are very excited about their Mission Mis-sion Call. "Both Karl and I are looking forward to going to the Phyllppine Islands," said Phyllis. "We want to be able to help the people any way we can. It will be so interesting to meet other people and such a good experience." They have six daughters and one son: Mrs. Gall Ereksen, of Delco, Idaho; Mrs. Jan Jacobsen, of En-cinitas, En-cinitas, CA.; Mrs. Kathy Larsen, of Kaysville; Annette An-nette Mayor, of Sandy; Mark Truman, of Mlnersville; Lyla Truman, of Sandy; and Colleen Truman, of Provo. They also have thirteen grandchildren. Karl and Phyllis are the owners of Mlnersville Feed and Supply, a John Deere dealership In Mlnersville. Karl has served on the Beaver County School Board for thirty one years, of which nineteen have been serving as President of the Board. He also has held various positions In the Church. Phyllis has served as auxiliary President, and has served on the Mlnersville Town Board and Beaut location loca-tion Committee, and various church positions. Their farewell will be Sunday, the 8th of November, Novem-ber, at 11:15 a.m. in the Mlnersville Ward Chapel. They would like all their family and friends to attend and wish them well. |
