Show PROJECT UPLIFT SENDS XMAS TO SERVICEMEN It may seem a little early to be thinking about Christmas, Christ-mas, but not for nearly 80O BYU students who will volunteer volun-teer to send Christmas packages pack-ages to LDS service men and women. Students want to continue project Uplift by sending one -pound boxes of homemade home-made cookies, candy or dried fruit and nuts to men and women in the military service serv-ice around the world. We're hoping to do about 800 this year. They say. Anyone having the current cur-rent name and address of an LDS military man or woman, wo-man, should send the information infor-mation to AS BYU, 432 Wilkinson Wil-kinson Center, BYU, Provo, Utah 84602, by Oct. 30. Many of the packages will be sent overseas, and will need to be in the mail by mid-November. |
