Smith, of the firm Tebbs, Smith and Associates, As-sociates, CPA, met with the board and reviewed the audit aud-it for the fiscal year ending end-ing June 30, 1980. It was moved and approved that the board accept the audit reports re-ports and appoint Tebbs, Smith and Associates Auditors Audi-tors for the 1981 fiscal year. Board members GarySul-livan, GarySul-livan, James Mayer and Superintendent Su-perintendent Haslem will meet with Milford about parking and drainage problems prob-lems near the new gym. Gordon Johnson, BUS, and Adrie Roberts, BHS, band teacher and drill team instructors in-structors met with the board and requested that they be authorized to attend the National Na-tional Invitation Drill Team Competition In California for three days. They were invited in-vited as region winners of last year. After much discussion dis-cussion it was approved pro - vided that the students earn all funds for registration, housing, meals and $750. toward the bus expense, with the district picking up the balance of approximately $500 -$700. All fund raising rais-ing projects which are of competitive nature with local lo-cal merchants must be prior approved by clearance from the merchants. This will count as two of the five unscheduled un-scheduled field trips for BHS. It was approved that Principal Prin-cipal Al Marshall attend the Accreditation Conference In Portland, Oregon this fall, and Principal Dan Joseph be allowed to attend the National Na-tional Elementary Principals Princi-pals Conference next spring. Dress standards were discussed dis-cussed but were tabled until next meeting. The following building use permit was approved and will be used by all schools In the district when a building Is used and rental money becomes be-comes due. It was approved that the Junior and Senior Class fund raising projects at Milford High be approved subject to merchant approvals. |
