The Commission authorized authori-zed the attorney to draft a letter to Persian Erick-son Erick-son stating that the road on the north interchange to the dump was a county road and could not be closed. They objected to more than one prisoner to a cell. The tv monitor was just a suggestion to aid observation ob-servation of prisoner activities ac-tivities without entering the cell block. The Commission discussed discus-sed the suggestions and opted opt-ed to furnish a third meal. They did not feel that overcrowding over-crowding was a problem, since it is only rarely that two prisoners occupy the same cell and then only for short periods. The Sheriff related his main problem is women prisoners. There are no separate facilities for worn -en, and no other jail close that will take them. It requires re-quires a matron to enter the cell block everytlme a woman prisoner needs something. John Williams, executive director of the FCAG met with the board on several matters. He said that the state had determined that they wanted to put together togeth-er large blocks of land for exchange with BLM. The county and cities in Beaver Beav-er County had submitted scattered parcels for use as parks, recreation areas and land fill. He said the state preferred pre-ferred a large block In Western Wes-tern Beaver County which would encompass alunite and molybdenum properties. The state generally is trying to tie up known mineral properties prop-erties such as coal, oil shale and oil - gas properties in other counties'. The Commission objected to the state proposal In Beaver Beav-er County, preferring to stick to small scattered blocks near the cities that could be used for future growth and development. They will recommend that the state not exchange lands in Beaver County, and will continue to achieve their means in the once -In -a -lifetime exchange with BLM. He presented a data base on natural resources for the five county area. He said it will be updated each year and provide necessary information, in-formation, and the capability to deal with state and federal agencies, as natural resources resour-ces are developed. The Commission approved $4125.00 as their participating participat-ing share in the FCAG. Williams Wil-liams said that the S.W.
