A qualifier is any particular part of the packaging pack-aging that the companies I require to send in a proof of purchase to get a refund i back. t A qualifier may be a box top, box bottom, a purchase confirmation seal, a back or front label, a universal product code number, a neck band, a net weight, or almost anything that the company wants to prove you have purchased their products. Sometimes they are called proofs of purchase. Labels can be soaked off from bottles In warm water. Sometimes it takes a long time to come off, others come off in just a few minutes. min-utes. Some are so stubborn that you almost have them In a million pieces by the time you get them off. If they are In pieces place the pieces on a kleenex and you can send them in that way. You can also place them on a plain piece of paper. Be sure when you have them off to place them upside down on something to dry. If you set them on the cupboard with the glue side down while they are still wet they will stick BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT: Dale Jensen explains to took the opportunity at Back -To School Night to visit parents what he expects of his students. The parents each of their children's classes. to it just like they did to the bottle. Anything with a cardboard backing can be peeled to only the paper label. Just peel the cardboard layers off. Be careful you do not tear the qualifiers while you are peeling the backing off. If they are peeled paper thin It helps if you can get your' family to save for you also. If you still do not have enough of certain products you can always trade someone else for the ones they have. You may use a product all the time that someone else doesn't and they may have some you never useSo you need an opportunity to trade someone else for them. A good way to trade qualifiers qual-ifiers is to join a qualifiers club or label bank. They send a list of current qualifiers needed for refunds available. Most of them state the worth of the qualifier in money a-mounts a-mounts according to what or how many is needed for one refund. For example, if you have a refund form for $1 for Kraft Mayonaise that needs four complete back labels each lable is listed as worth 25?. You do not buy these you trade other qualifiers for the values listed. If you would like to find out more about these label banks, you can send to either of these two. Send 25? and a Large Self -Ad- . dressed Envelope and they will be happy to send a list and information to you. Send to either Label Bank, Neoma Micek 452 S. College, Monmouth Mon-mouth 97361, or Refund Exchange Ex-change Club, 27 Elm Place Lancaster', NY 14086. If you have any ideas you would like to share or have discussed or questions you would like answered please call the paper or drop me a note and I will try to help. they are much easier to store. Now that you have them off the cans and boxes you need to sort them out and find a way to store them so you can find them easily when you need them for a refund. You can use shoe boxes or other little boxes, file folders, plastic bags or en- velopes. A 10 by 12 file folder is really handy for storing them alphabetically. It Is also handy to have some paper clips on hand to keep all of one product together. Take for instance soup labels you may have Campbells, Lipton, and Souptlme, and probably different flavors in them. Paperclip all Campbells Camp-bells tomato together place them in the boxes of file folders. If you use the file folder they would go under S, If you use boxes you would need one box labeled soups. Then when you need a soup label you know right where you can find them. Do this with all of your products. Envelopes are handy for storing the very small qualifiers quali-fiers together such as purchase pur-chase confirmation seals. Nabisco usually always calls for the purchase confirmation confir-mation on their cracker refunds. re-funds. These are on the side of the box and are quite small. So I take all my seals - and put them in a used envelope en-velope (usually one that has come back with a refund in it) and mark on the outside what is in it. You can put a paper clip on the top to hold it shut so they won't fall out. Then place the envelope en-velope in the boxes or file folders. You can place several envelopes en-velopes in a shoe box or the file folders. You have to experiment ex-periment to see what method suits you best .Everyone is different and you need to find what you like best after you have tried out the ideas. It will take awhile to build up your qualifiers supply when you first start saving, so that you may not have all the qualifiers you need I when a refund comes along. I |
