Show ' A number of the valley folk have had 'whatever it is' and that must be the name cause they come up and ask, "Have you had whatever it is?" I guess I did, but it was more like "Oh, I'm dying" dy-ing" to me. Our son-in-law, Larry Hardwlck and two of our grandsons were here for an over the weekend visit.They just drove down from Salt Lake to get some firewood. It's always nice to see them. Remember - An ounce of accomplishment is worth a ton or more of good Intention. ROBERTA CONDE While " "Mollie" "and Wayne Gonder were In Elko at the Farm Bureau Convention, sons, Owen and Emerson, and wife, Daisy Gonder were in Salt Lake attending the Cattlemen's Association meetings. Mollie and Wayne also drove to Salt Lake for some appointments. Pam Wheeler was driving fast to Cedar City the other day for "false" pains, now she U back home. She wants a difficult gift this year. Herb Bright was home for the weekend, so JoAnn was all smiles. That Mexican Food that Denyse serves at the Border Bor-der Inn Is really something good. You all should try it. She has it every Friday and Saturday nights. Pat Gonder and her moth er, Mary Tanner, were also in Salt Lake, as Pat's grandfather grand-father passed away. . We have a new set of twin ' girls in our valley. Kevin and Marci DeWitt are the proud parents. Darlene Whitlock, of Baker, Ba-ker, and Becky Williams, of Garrison, were in Ely to listen to a very inform a - tive meeting on Relief Society, So-ciety, given by a BYU representative. |
