Jol-ley. Mrs. Nettie Myers is home after spending two weeks in Idaho with her sons. A bridal shower was given for Shelly Carter last Thursday Thurs-day night in the Relief Society So-ciety room. Shelley and Barton will be married on December 28th. Mr. and Mrs. Neal Davis received word that their little lit-tle granddaughter, Stacy Blake fell and broke her jaw. Grandma Edna went to Salt Lake to help care for her. Last Friday night the Minersville Mi-nersville Senior Citizens held a Christmas Party at the Fair Building. A lovely turkey dinner was served to 48 people. Vera Carter and Theo Marshall cooked the turkeys and dressing, and the rest was pot luck. Many homes in Minersville Miners-ville are being dressed up for the holidays. The Betterment Bet-terment Club has two Christmas Christ-mas scenes on the church yard, one of Santa and his Reindeer, and a Nativity scene. Mr. Van Davis was in Salt Lake City for medical attention. at-tention. His wife, Jane, accompanied ac-companied him. The Minersville Ward Choir is just about ready to present the Annual Christmas Christ-mas Cantata. Reva Williams Wil-liams is the conductor and Eleanore Marshall, organist. organ-ist. Mr. and Mrs. Max Carter Car-ter were invited to the home of their children, Mr. and Mrs. Robin Bradshaw for a steak dinner last Saturday night. - Mr. Tex Dennis is visiting his children in California. Last Thursday night the. Minersville Auxiliary held their annual Christmas Party Par-ty at the Minersville Cultural Cul-tural Hall. A lovely Ham dinner was served with Cream Pie as dessert. Forty members and their partners were in attendance. A 3:00 a.m. fire woke Blaine and Christy Bobzein from their sleep. ' It was only minutes until the Minersville Mi-nersville volunteer fire department de-partment arrived. The fire was confined to two rooms, but they received lots of smoke and water damage. A baby shower was held for Nalante Gillins at her home Monday night. Mrs. Vie Marshall and Mrs. Merle Gillins spent a few days in Salt Lake doing |
