Show tovtk Helen G.lilni 387-2612 Mrs. MargieSherwood returned re-turned home Friday from a three week trip to San Jose, California, where she had been helping Laura and David Da-vid and children, getting, i " ' ready to move to Utah. They drove to Milford. The two girls are here with grandparents, grand-parents, and Burgundy will enroll in school here for the remainder of the school year. Laura will stay with parents, Jim and Margie, while David is in Pensicola, Florida, for schooling. At the Gale Van Tassell home for Easter were fam -ily members Charlotte and Lynn Hatch, and children; Annette and David Munk, and son, from .Richfield; Sylvia Ann Bradshaw and three daughters; and Dee and Rhonda Van Tassell. Mr. and Mrs. John Bailey Bail-ey of St. George, were up for the weekend visiting sons, Ken and Phillip and their families. Mrs. Cuma Goodwin accompanied ac-companied her granddaughter, granddaugh-ter, Jilene Burger, to Salt Lake Thursday, and visited with son, Jack, and family, until Saturday. Last Friday, Opal and Theman Walker were very happy to have Opal's brother, Roy, and wife, Ruby Thompson, Thomp-son, from Palmsdale, California, Cali-fornia, and granddaughter, Jennifer, spend the day. Mrs. Verlene Yardley drove her daughter, Lynette, Tera Gale, and Sherrie Lounsbury to Panguitch for the Youth Conference. Others attending this conference con-ference were Rob and Reagan Rea-gan Puffer. Last Wednesday, Zeke and Phyllis Hickman drove to Delta for the 10th birthday of a granddaughter, Cheryl, daughter of Rodney and Jeri Ogden. 1 It was a busy weekend at the Coy Williams home. On Saturday afternoon the family fam-ily enjoyed a picnic. Saturday Satur-day evening Coy, Todd, Javiar, Mark Yardley, Chad Hardy and Armando attended the East -West Basketball game at Cedar City. Kim participated in a track meet and was in Las Vegas with the Indian Basketball Team. Saturday, Margie and Hod Gale, Elwin and Carol Mar-quardson Mar-quardson and son, Darrin, of Cedar City, and grand daughter, Rochelle Walker, of Orem, were visitors of Theman and Opal Walker. Sunday, Theman and Opal were at Jim and Barbara's home for a lovely Easter dinner. Then the group went J to Beaver and Greenville ' seeing how the reservoir at Minersville was filling up. Grandson, Aaron, was ! with them. I Robert and Debbie Bishop j and family, have spent a week In California visiting ' Debbie's parents, and other- relatives. J Last Friday, Zeke and ! At-j At-j tending were the Rollins ! brothers, and wives, Basil ! and Alice, from Nephi; Dick ; and Toni, Glen and Vivian ! and a cousin, Harold Pryor. ! Thursday, Florence Bar-! Bar-! nes and Garnetta Hollis en -; tertained the Lady Engineers ; (GIA) at the Barnes home. I Edith Wisner is President of ! the organization. ; Saturday, Duard and Ar-; Ar-; thella Evans enjoyed a picnic pic-nic in the Shauntie Hills with Clair and I. Clair and Duard spent several years in their youth at Shauntie. J Sunday, Glenn and Billie Osborne, along with Clair ! and Helen Gillins were in' Cedar City at Gerald and Jeanette Stoker's home, along with daughters, Steve and Wendy Stoker, and baby from Price. Lorraine and Nona Gillins Gil-lins were in Fillmore on Sunday with children Keith and Connie and boys, Corey, Kelley and Colby. |
