Show Wilma Davis - 386-2211 from Payson, visited with their parents over the weekend. week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Taylor visited their parents in Levan and Orem over the Easter weekend. Mrs. Margaret Williams drove to Las Vegas to attend at-tend a funeral. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ma-hon, Ma-hon, from Cedar City, spent the night at Noel andDorothy Wood's home. They all enjoyed en-joyed a steak dinner in the hills Sunday afternoon. Jackie and Russell Muir, and son, of Las Vegas, and Bruce and Irma Edwards, and boys, from Ely, gathered at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Blackburn. Black-burn. Then they all enjoyed dinner in St. George in the park. Mr. and Mrs. Arshall Guests at the Sheral Carter Car-ter home for the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Charley Williams, of Nampa, Idaho, and DennyCusick, from Bear River City. For the Easter weekend several couples went to Lake Powell, including Mr. and Mrs. Roger Carter, and family, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Limb, and family; Mr. and Mrs. Heber Gil-lins, Gil-lins, and family. They said the fishing was great! Mr. and Mrs. Clark Davis Payne, Jodie Eyre and Heidi Hei-di Davis. 6-7 and 8 year olds were Sidney Marshall, Paula Davis, Janet Carter, Kirt Walbeck, Julie Marshall, and Heather Albrecht, Barry Marshall. 9-10 and 11 year olds: Tresa Albrecht, ChuckMar-tin, ChuckMar-tin, Shay Goff and PaulMar-shall. PaulMar-shall. A special thanks to Suzanne Su-zanne Dalton and Marilyn Walbeck. Also to the business busi-ness people and town board who donated the money. And a big thanks to Minersville Auxiliary. Evan's family, LaRee and Al Morin, and family, from Las Vegas, and Ronnie and Geniel Roberts, and family, picked up their parents and spent Easter in the old Shauntie hills. Arshall worked there as a youth. Mr. and Mrs. Thel Smith, from Salt Lake, are spending spend-ing the week at Sheral Carter's Car-ter's home. Thel is paneling panel-ing the home for them. Mrs. Nettie Myers came home from Las Vegas, and the next day she was confined con-fined in the Beaver hospital. She is improving. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Roberts Rob-erts are home after spending spend-ing three months in Washington. Wash-ington. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Williams Wil-liams from Kanosh, spent a few days with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Milton Albrecht. Al-brecht. Monday night the Eyre family celebrated Rulon's birthday. Pie and ice cream were served to the family. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Davis and girls, from Payson, spent the weekend home with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wood met their family in St. George and enjoyed a picnic, pic-nic, and visiting. Mrs. Clara Charles, and family came from Henderson; Mr. and Mrs. Vern Wood from Hurricane, and Mr.andMrs. Grant Wood, from Kearns. They returned home on Saturday night. Katherine Carter and friend, spent Easter with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Carter. Kayleen also came for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Kim Marshall, Mar-shall, from North Piatt, Nebraska; Neb-raska; Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Yardley, and family, from Salt Lake; and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Garnett, from Delta, spent the Easter Holiday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Newell Marshall. On Saturday Satur-day they went to St. George and on Sunday they went to Snow Canyon. Lyla Truman and friend came home over the weekend week-end to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Truman. Tru-man. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Knight were visitors at the Effie Marshall home over the weekend. On Monday, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Jones, from Phoenix, spent the night with her. Mr. and Mrs. Arshall Evans received word of a new grandson, born to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Strong, of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Swin-dlehurst, Swin-dlehurst, and family,-from Las Vegas, visited Mr. and Mrs. Tex Marshall and Mr. and Mrs. Tim Marshall. Mr. Oswald Myers has been in the Milford Hospital. Mrs. Gladys Myers spent Easter in Cedar City with her son, Dr. Kent Myers, and family. Mrs. Lola Bohn is home after spending a month in Las Vegas while recuperating recuper-ating from surgery. Mrs. Debbie Hutchings, and family, from Salina, spent a few days visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gillins. Merle has just been released from the Beaver Hospital. Mr. and Mrs.DaiselDavis were in Provo to get groceries gro-ceries and visited Velma and BernellMcAffee, in Pay- t son. Mr. and Mrs. GaroldEyre and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Eyre spent Saturday In Snow Canyon. Lisa Eyre and a friend from Provo also went with them . Mr. andMrs.KarlTruman received word of a new granddaughter. The parents are Mr. and Mrs. Jerry (Kathy) Larson, of Salt Lake City. The Easter Egg Hunt was a real success, and it didn't even snow. Those winning prizes were Chett Carter, Christine Craw, MacKenzie Gillins and Casey Dalton in the one year old class. Natasha Na-tasha Davis, Kathie Carter, Car-ter, Melissa Albrecht and Kyle Carter in the two year old class. 3-4 and 5 year old winners were Kimber-ly Kimber-ly Walbeck, Jenny Marshall, Ben Dalton, Mathew Mayer, John Marshall, Brandon |
