Family Life Services does take applications for public assistance (medical, financial, finan-cial, and food stamps), which is what most people call "welfare". Those people who receive public assistance assist-ance must either work or learn a trade. During the month of March, the savings to taxpayers from one such program alone amounted to over $1,100.00 in this district.
