Show Williams went all the way for the Mets. Charlie Heath hit two home runs for the Jets. On June 13 the Cubs got nine runs for John Dotson, and for once it was enough, as they beat the Bees, 9-5. Steven Kinross and Robby Robbins combined for the winners and Todd Williams Wil-liams and Nelson Gray pitched pitch-ed for the Mets. Robbins had a home run. June 15th the Bees unloaded unload-ed for 30 runs with a big 17 run 3rd inning. The Cubs had 8. Pitchers were Evan Rogers, Kelly Foster, T. Kelsey and Teddy Bridge. The Bees split with the Cubs to capture second place and give the Cubs their first win. On June 12th the Jets blasted the Mets for 22 runs in four innings.
