Show tootk Helen Giflins 387-2612 Stan and Adrienne Roberts' Rob-erts' son-in-law, Bill Van-denburgh Van-denburgh and children, from St. George spent Sunday evening ev-ening with them. They had been fishing at the Minersville Miners-ville Reservoir. They returned re-turned home Monday. Father's Day at Maurine and Duane Yardleys was busy with Paul and Barbara Yard -ley, Cedar City andWayne and Evelyn McCulley and boys from Milford, enjoying dinner with father Duane. Later their daughter, Susan and husband, Rex Harrison, and children of Salt Lake City came for a weeks visit. vis-it. Mr. and Mrs. Theman Walker are very proud and happy to be new grandparents grandpar-ents to the new son of Ronnie Ron-nie and Tracy Walker. He made his appearance to the happy couple June 14th, weighing 8 lbs. 15 ozs., and was named Ronald Theman Walker, Jr. Ronnie is very pleased for this son. He is the first Walker in five generations gen-erations to carry on the Walker name. Norman Baxter Bax-ter and the late Alice Baxter Bax-ter are the maternal grandparents grand-parents of little Ronnie. On Friday Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Sly were in Cedar City for an appointment. They also enjoyed lunch with Zelma Alger and son, Duane, Du-ane, of Enoch. Stan Roberts spent a couple of days last week visiting vis-iting in St. George with son, Neil and family. Elbert and Marsha Ap-plegate Ap-plegate and family have their brother, John Lee, and fam -ily of Brawley, California spending a few days with them. Jerry and Janice Mayer and family were recently in Salt Lake where they all had a great time. Trina Hatch of Price is spending some time here with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gail Van Tassell and Aunt Annette. Sunday, Father's Day, Carol and Elwin Marquard-son Marquard-son and grandson, Corey, Cedar City, Barbara and Jim Mayer and son, Aaron and grandson, Shaun McGinn, spent the afternoon with their father and mother, Theman and Opal Walker. Theman received phone calls from other members of his family. Scott Yardley of Bountiful was down visiting for the weekend with parents, Don and Corrine Yardley. While here he attended Guard Duty in Beaver. Last week Mr. and Mrs. James Mayer and son, Aaron, were in Ogden visiting visit-ing with children, A dele and Tom McGinn, and family. When they returned home they brought grandson, Shaun, for a two week visit; vis-it; On Father's Day, visitors of Clair and Helen Gillins were their family members, Lorraine and Nona Gillins, Kathy Kirk and son, Brady, all of Milford; Jeanette and Gerald Stoker, and daughters, daugh-ters, Karrie and Sue Ann, Cedar City; and Louise and Bob McKnight and daughters, Nicole and Natalie, Las Vegas. Veg-as. Friday evening Steve and Wendy Stoker of Cedar City called to wish Grandpa Clair a Happy Father's Day. They also called to wish Grandpa Grand-pa Glenn Osborne a Happy Day and to visit with Grandma Grand-ma Billie Stoker for a short time. |
