Show Qeaiup3 plaint Historical Park vited to help. The Historical Society has $500.00 worth of trees and shrubs to plant, including many flowering varieties. Jay Gustaveson, chairman of the project says, "We've If you're not busy Friday and Saturday, you are invited invit-ed to help cleanup the Milford Mil-ford Historical Park and plant trees. A big granite boulder will be placed in a prominent place, and plaques "In Mem -ory Of" will be placed on the boulder. Persons wishing wish-ing to make donations in memory of a friend or relative rel-ative may have a plaque placed plac-ed on the boulder. A $500.00 donation was received receiv-ed from Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ed-ward Dicks in memory of Louis Ward. Organizations are asked to take a small area and develop it according to the landscape design. The M&M C.B. Club has agreed to do the planting around the D-E Monument, and will be on hand Saturday Satur-day to get started. Some of the trees purchased pur-chased for the side hill will not be planted until the city gets the sprinkling system in operation. The Historical Society will again hold a swap meet on June 10th to raise funds to carry on the development of the Historical Park. Plan now to join your friends and neighbors at the swap meet. |
