Show Ray Kesler and two sons, John and Roger, went to Salt Lake Thursday. From there they flew to Huston, Texas to be with Steven and Vickie Kesler and family tor three weeks. They will helpSteven with the carpenter work on the church building Steve has been building. Douglas, Barbara, Chad, and Doyle Briggs of Salt Lake and Ogden were visitors at the Bessie Edwards home Sunday. They came to see Doug's father, Gilbert, who is very ill at the Beaver Hospital. They also enjoyed having a birthday dinner for Brent Edwards with the Edwards Ed-wards family. Other persons per-sons attending were Ricke Gillies and son, Allen were also visitors. Mr. Gene Smith of Payson, an uncle of Jamie Ferguson, visited with Jamie and Richard Rich-ard on his way home from Fallbrook, California. He had been in California helping help-ing his daughter and family clean their home after four feet of water went through it, from the recent rains in California. Roy and Margaret Barton, accompanied by Helen Bolton of Milford, traveled to Fillmore Fill-more last week to attend a family get together at the Wes and Wilma Barton home. Other relatives attending at-tending were Dan and Anna Marie Thomas, and Joe and Nola Barton. Frank and Phyliss Myers came home from Pheonix, Arizona this week, after attending at-tending the horse races there. Their horse had won it's race, and they were very pleased. They went back this week to see the horse race again. The said they also were enjoying the warm weather. wea-ther. Arthur Blackner has been released from the Beaver Hospital after spending several sev-eral days there because of the after effects of the flu. Speakers at Sacrament meeting last week were Mr. and Mrs. La Blount from i il ii ii il il im Beaver. This week Ilyne and LaVal Bradshaw came to speak to us. Doris andClarence Hutchinson Hutch-inson returned home from California this week after spending two weeks with relatives rel-atives there. Joann and Orson Blackner were in St. George to attend a funeral last week. The funeral fun-eral was for a man Orson worked with in construction. John and Peggy Kerkseik and Becky and Dan Miles motored to St. George last week to attend a temple session. ses-sion. Brent and Sandy Edwards, Becky and Tom Bartlett, Bessie Edwards andDesma Maycock were in St. George Friday to attend a session at the temple. Maurine Yardley and La-Ree La-Ree Stewart visited with their father, Arthur Blackner, Black-ner, this week. Carolyn Williams and her room mate were here from Cedar City visiting. Ray and Afton Kesler were in St. George on business last week and also attended a session at the temple. Robert Jenson is a patient at the Beaver Hospital, where he underwent major surgury. . Tom and Becky Bartlett were in Salt Lake Wednesday on business. Adamsville Greenville Bessie Edwards Visitors at the home of ! Mrs. Lorette Thompson the past week were Mr. and Mrs. David (Lucy) Reese of Mil-ford. Mil-ford. Mr. Reese is Lor-ette's Lor-ette's brother. Mrs. Zelma and Kay Edwards and three children and Mrs. Nettie Fordham. King and Donna Morris motored to Provo Friday to see Gil and June Bicenda and new baby who was born last week. The baby was a 8 lb. girl and will be named Gay Lynn. The Morris' are very proud of the new foster grandchild. Mrs. Golda Williams left for California Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Decker of Panguitch. Golda's son-in-law, Joe Decker, had a severe se-vere heart attack and she went to be with her daughter, Myrtle. Faye and Annette Fordham were in Cedar City on Monday. Mon-day. Elmer and Rita Casper came home Monday after spending ten days in California Califor-nia with friends and relatives. |
