Show 'avis - 386-2211 Wilma Davis - Dorothy and Noel Wood, and Jeff and Marie Marshall traveled to Parowan to the Swiss Village to celebrate Dorothy's birthday Thursday, Thurs-day, Jan. 19th. Steven Craw celebrated his birthday January 25th. Steven is 2 years old. Happy Hap-py birthday, Steven. Bryant Davis also celebrated cele-brated his birthday January 25th. Happy birthday, one-year-old Bryant. Brandon Payne and Gloria Dawn Craw had a double birthday January 26th. They had a joint party at the church where all of their little friends came to celebrate. Blake Marshall is the owner of the new home brought in the other day. Roger tells me it is really nice. He and Blake are going to share it. Thursday night the Beaver Stake High Priest had aban-quet aban-quet in Minersville Ward. Earl Limb was the chairman chair-man and furnished the turkeys, tur-keys, the rest was furn- ished by everyone. They served about 210, turkey, dressing, spring salad, fruit salad, hot rolls, potatoe casserole, cas-serole, and cream pie. Everyone said it was delicious. Mr. and Mrs. Noel Wood celebrated their anniversary January 28th. Happy anniversary. anni-versary. Trina Marshall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Marshall, celebrated her 6th birthday January 27th. Happy birthday Trina. The Daddy -Daughter Dinner Din-ner Date was held In Minersville Min-ersville Friday night under the direction of their teacher, teach-er, Molly Taylor. These little girls were with their daddy's, Wendy Carter came with Dan Payne, Christian Wallbeck and her dad, Ralph Wallbeck, Lisa Lemon and her dad, Keith. Carol Lemon and Debbie Hollingshead also, attended. They served fried chicken and all the trimmings. trim-mings. Mrs. Denola Heslington received word Saturday that she was a great grandmother. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Heslington, Hesling-ton, her grandson, are the proud parents of twin baby girls. Mrs. Arshall EvanS spent a few days last week inCedar City tending her daughter '. and family. Roma was sick and needed help. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Myers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Myers, stopped on their honeymoon and spent a couple of days at their grandma's, Mrs. Nettie Myers. Mrs. Lettie Gibson drove Mr. and Mrs. Walt Grover from Cedar City to Los Angeles and back. She visited vis-ited her sister, Mr. andMrs. Ralph Tanner. Mr. and Mrs Noel Wood received word of the birth of a grandson, born to Mr. and... Mrs. Kurt Short. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wood are the great -grandparents. The baby weighed 8 lbs. 13 oz. and was born January 29th. Weekend visitors at the Noel Wood home were her brother, Clifford, and three sons, Steven, Eddie and Lynn Brlmberry. Mr. and Mrs. Sherl Carter Car-ter of Minersville; Mr. and Mrs. Rex Carter of Beaver and Lois Pearson of Cedar -City went to Arcadia, California to see their sister, Bertha Reusch, who has been ill for several months. Many LDs people from Minersville attended Stake Conference in Beaver, in which they really enjoyed. Mrs. Doug Carter, and Mrs. Pam McMullin were in Cedar City on Monday doing business for their husbands. Mr. and Mrs. Goldle Marshall Mar-shall received word of anew great-granddaughter. The parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Mar-shall (Susan) Marentnos, the grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Tom Stubbs of Orem. |
