The cheerleaders will sponsor a dance in the old gym Saturday, Nov. 26, after af-ter the basketball game. The music will be Mike Diamond from K96, Provo. It will be school dress and the cost is $1.75 a- person and $3.25 for couples. The cheerleaders cheerlead-ers ask for everyone to come and support them . The Tiger wrestling team will travel to Juab, Nov. 29, for the first wrestling match of the 1977-78 season. The match is scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m. The girls volleyball team challenged the M.H.S. faculty fac-ulty to a volleyball match Monday, Nov. 21. ' Wednesday, Nov. 16. the fire siren went off, calling several volunteer firefighters firefight-ers from their classes and throwing several of the new teachers and students into confusion, and a couple of firefighters into shock because be-cause it has been a while since the siren rang in Milford. In all the excitement of stampeding firefighters, teachers yelling, "Don't run in the halls," and people in the halls trying to get out of the way, one of the firefighters took a tumble down the high school hill and suffered a sprained knee and bruises. After things were all taken care of, the firefighters only had one complaint, they all had to go back to school. The Health Occupations Class is monitoring blood pressures of assigned persons. per-sons. One of these assigned as-signed people is Coach Hillock, Hil-lock, before a ball game, during half time and after a game. This assignment is going to be very interesting inter-esting for those participating. participat-ing. The Health Occupations Class is planning a trip to Salt Lake to the University Hospital as well as other places involved with the med-cial med-cial field. The trip will take place Tuesday, Dec. 6th. There was an assembly Tuesday, Nov. 22. It was performed by the senior class. The Region Eight Volleyball Volley-ball tournament was held Wednesday, Nov. 23, here in Milford. The eight teams participating were: Division I, first place, Gunnison;Sec-ond Gunnison;Sec-ond place, Piute; and third place, Wayne. Division II, first place, Pangultch; second place, Valley; third place, Escalante. Division IH, first place, Parowan; and second place, Beaver. There was a lot of volleyball volley-ball played that day. The Milford Tigers travel to Wayne Friday, Nov. 25, for the season opener in basketball. bas-ketball.
