Show to. Jean Steiner to ocruG Church Rev. Jean Steiner, 52, has been assigned as pastor of the Milford Community United Unit-ed Methodist Church, replacing replac-ing Rev. Jim Robbins. She will serve the Rural Christian Chris-tian Ministry circuit, including in-cluding the Delta Community Communi-ty Presbyterian Church, the United Methodist Fellowship in Beaver, and the Baker -Lehman Caves congregation. Rev. Steiner is a graduate of the Biff School of Theology Theolo-gy in Denver, where she has lived for the past twenty -five years. Her major was in theology education and pas -toral psychology. In Denver she was a lay-worker lay-worker for Cameron United Methodist Church, counseling counsel-ing in group work. She particularly par-ticularly likes working with the aged. She also assisted the Denver inner -city program, pro-gram, working with runaways and the youth ministry. She is the mother of four grown sons, one of whom is m arried, and all live in the Denver area. She is particularly particu-larly proud to follow her great-grandfather's footsteps. foot-steps. He was a circuit -riding Methodist minister in Iowa and Wisconsin. Sunday worship hours are as follows: Delta, 9:00 a.m.; Milford, 11:30 a.m.; and Beaver, Bea-ver, 2:30 p.m. She will also serve the Baker -Lehman C aves congregation several times each year. She is anxious to assist the congregations of the area to accomplish whatever programs pro-grams are needed and wanted. |
