Karl and Phyllis Truman went to Reno, Nevada for a John Deer convention, Mon day and Tuesday. A birthday party was held for Cynthia Gillins at her home Wednesday afternoon. Cynthia turned nine years old. Clay Marshall celebrated his birthday Sunday, January 9th. Clay turned one year old. Blake and Linda Carter have moved home to Min-ersville Min-ersville this last week. They previously were making their home in Washington. A zoning and planning meeting for Minersville was held January 4th at the school. Those in attandance discussed ideas and suggestions sugges-tions to be set in plans for Minersville. Larry and Mary Beth Bailey spent a few days last week visiting in Salt Lake. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Waune Gillins Sunday, Sun-day, January 9th, were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Clark of Cedar City. Pam and Kent Swindle -hurst are the proud parents of a new baby daughter born at the Beaver Hospital. Grandparents are Vie and Tex Marshall, Minersville and Ann and Rue Swindle-hurst, Swindle-hurst, Beaver. She will I ' . c be named Holly Rae. She has an older brother, Coble. Terri and Dean Eyre are the proud parents of a new son, born January 8th at the Beaver Hospital. Grandparents Grandpar-ents are Carla and Dale Eyre, Minersville and Janet and Brent Smith, Beaver. He will be named Bradly Dean. Floyd and Beulah Wood spent a few days after New Year visiting with their son, Grant, and his wife, Ruth, in Salt Lake. Their son, Vance, also visited with them this past weekend while he was here for National Guard. Spence and Linda Eyre and family spent a day last week visiting with relatives in Cedar City. Mrs. Vie Jolley of Salt Lake City is here with her daughters, Merle Gillins and Vie Marshall. Sacrament Meeting for the Minersville Ward was held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday.
