The starting five are: Kayleen Eyre, center and captain; Cherice Gale, forward; Ter-ri Ter-ri Hutchings, forward; Penny Joseph, guard and captain; and Cindy Carter, guard. The rest of the team consists of Kallie Anderson, guard; Bonnie Bon-nie Bettridge, center; Brenda Black, guard; Carol Ann Bowden, guard; Janette Hol-lingshead, Hol-lingshead, forward; Charlotte Char-lotte Joseph, guard; Melora Webster, forward; and Pam Wright, guard. The coach is Miss Debbie Turner. , Beaver's wrestlers host Hurricane Wednesday and travel to Milford on Thursday. Thurs-day. On Saturday, they travel to Parowan for the tournament tourna-ment there. The basketball team plays Millard, Saturday, after defeating de-feating the Kanab Cowboys in last week's game, 62-48. Roger Don Marshall was high scorer for Beaver with 20 points. The JV lost their game with Kanab, 46-57. Chad Dalton was high scorer for Beaver with 12 points. Blair Smith made 9, Mike Smith 8, Shane Blackner and Kelly Smith 4 each, Mike Fuller 3, and Rickey Carter made 2. SUSC presented a traveling assembly Wednesday afternoon. after-noon. The cast was made up of college students and was enjoyed by all. A new bus route for Min-ersville Min-ersville students began last week. There are four stops made in Minersville, three stops in Adamsville and four stops in Greenville. Minersville Miners-ville students enjoy (?) the one -hour ride. The traveling exhibit of Utah Art is in Beaver again. The exhibit is sponsored by the Associated Utah Artists and Utah State Institute of Fine Arts. Forty paintings are on display and all are for sale. Come and enjoy the paintings and if you are in-tested in-tested in purchasing one, contact Les Bogh, Beaver's Art Teacher, for details.
