Show Becky Williams It seems the residents of Snake Valley are suffering from the post holiday doldrums. dol-drums. No one has gone anywhere or really done anything any-thing newsworthy. There are, of course a few exception. Darwin and Jeanie Wheeler Wheel-er found it necessary to make a trip to Monroe and Richfield. Rich-field. Jamie had a touch of something and they took her to the doctor. While there, they visited with Jeanie's folks, Mr. and Mrs. Jensen. The Garrison Branch underwent un-derwent a big change. We now have a new branch presidency. pres-idency. Pres.RichardSwal-low Pres.RichardSwal-low and his counselors, Clark Tolbert and James Wheeler were released, and Clark Tolbert was sustained as the new president with counselors, coun-selors, LaVon Rowley and Owen Gonder. James Wheeler Wheel-er Is the Elder's Quorum Pres. and Brad Dunford is branch clerk. While James Wheeler was In Ft. Collins, Colo, last week, Pam went to Delta and spent a day with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Lathel Callister. LaRue Rowley and Arvilla Williams certainly have their traveling shoes on last week. They were in Cedar City one day, Delta another, and then Saturday they took Austin with them to Cedar again. Carolyn Wheeler started classes at BYU last Monday. She was excited about going, but felt bad about leavng people here. Lani Johnson spent the hoi -iday week In Idaho, visiting a cousin. On Monday when Pat Gon -der went over the the lunchroom, lunch-room, she opened the refrigerator re-frigerator door. Instead of being greeted by a breath of cold air, the thing made like a blast furnace. Quite a few things were spoiled. The school district has brought a substitute to us until that one can be fixed. Bud and Gen Richardson Richard-son went to Ely one day to visit Dee Heckathorn. - He had been in the hospital, but was out and feeling a little lit-tle better now. As I said the doldrums have set In, and that's it for the week. |
