Show line. A public drawing will be held on Friday, August 27, to select the permit holders hold-ers for the 1976 restricted elk hunts. The drawing will be held at 9:00 a.m. in the Division of Wildlife Resources Resourc-es auditorium, located at. 1596 West North Temple, Salt Lake City. Successful applicants will be notified by mail following the drawing. Most restricted elk hunting hunt-ing coincides with the regular regu-lar elk season opening September Sep-tember 29. Several hunting units, however, conduct the restricted elk hunts at different dif-ferent times. Hunters should check the proclamation carefully. DEER PERMIT APPLICATIONS DUE Applications for the regular regu-lar season hunter's choice deer permits must be received re-ceived in the Wildlife Resources' Re-sources' Ogden office before 5:00 p.m., Friday, August 20, 1976. A public drawing to select the lucky permittees permit-tees will be conducted in the Ogden office at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, August 27. These control permits do not allow the taking of more than one deer. They only authorize au-thorize the taking of either an antlerless or an antlered deer during the regular deer season. The permits are available only for three units In northern Utah: Ogden River; Riv-er; East Canyon, Morgan County part; and Davis County. Coun-ty. Each unit has 100 permits. per-mits. Hunters purchasing a control con-trol permit may not possess archery, muzzleloaker or other control permits.
