Milford caught a bye when Panguitch cancelled all football foot-ball games for the year, so the Beavers will be the only Beaver County team seeing action before school opens. Coach AlMarshall's Beav-' Beav-' ers travel to Kanab for their l first game Friday under the lights and it is rated top ac -tion in the league as the only other game is North Sevier at Parowan. Both the Cowboys and Beavers are figured to be contenders this year, and will be going for a win. Milford is down over the cancellation, but new coach Monte Lee is looking forward for-ward to their first contact when Kanab comes to Milford Mil-ford next week. Panguitch just didn't have sufficient turnout to play football so will probably start sharpeningtheirshoot-ing sharpeningtheirshoot-ing eye for round ball. North Sevier is always tough and Parowan has been a comer in recent years, so look for some fine football foot-ball as the Region Eight pigskin pig-skin gets underway. |
