Show Salt Lake City recently visiting visit-ing at the home of her son, Mr. and Mrs. George Dewey Jimerson, and In Idaho with another son, Harry Jimerson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Hansen of Salt Lake City were here last weekend visiting Russel Lee and Dick Mayer. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Aa-gard Aa-gard and family of Granger were here last weekend visiting vis-iting at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Inman and Mr. and Mrs. WI1-mer WI1-mer Aagard. May Garner of St. George and Ann May Gubler andAda Langston of Hurricane were all here Wednesday afternoon after-noon to visit at the home of May's daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Barton and family.- Roy Heath received word from his brother, Harvey Heath, in Riverside near Souix City, Iowa, that they had had such a snowstorm that the snow drifts were higher than the houses. It took him three days to get his garage doors open. An n Hawley and Adrlenne Roberts were in Cedar City last week on business. James Hardy is feeling better since his recent stay in the local hospital. James Hardy's mother, Eliza Hardy, and sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Bauer, all of Spanish Fork, were here to see James.Al-so James.Al-so his brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hardy of Delta, spent a day visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Del Matkin of Victor, Idaho have been visitors at the home of her sister, Mr. and Mrs. John Hanley. Mr. and Mrs. John Hanley spent their 33rd wedding anniversary an-niversary in Las Vegas and also sightseeing at Hoover Dam. Mrs. Myrtle Mills of Provo was here to visit her sister, Edythe Grlmshaw. Also here to visit them on Thursday and Friday were their sister and husband, Sam and Erma Cline of Salt Lake City. Clark and Virge Goodwin recently spent four days in Las Vegas visiting her sister sis-ter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnson. their children during the weekend; Coy Jones of Wendell, Wen-dell, Idaho; Nanette Lelsh-man Lelsh-man of Bountiful; and Kyle and Janice Jones, who are attending the UofU in Salt Lake City. Kyle has made the honor roll and is in his senior year. Keith and John Long drove up to Salt Lake City recently to attend NAPA meetings and while there visited with their sons, Terry and Kevin, and also a nephew, Jeff Berger. Mr., and Mrs. David McNeil Mc-Neil and daughter, Irene Scheffer, of Salt Lake City, were here during the weekend week-end visiting their daughter and son and families, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Jones and Mr. , and Mrs. David Robblns. Kail, Kyle, and Linley Weston, grandchildren of Warren and Enid Johnson, are here visiting while their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Brad Weston of Orem, are vacationing vaca-tioning In Hawaii for ten days. Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Kirk, Mr. and Mrs. Alden Johnson, and Mr. and Mrs. DeLane Johnson and four children celebrated the birthday of their mother and grandmother, Mrs. Dora Johnson, on Sunday, Jan. 19, at the home of her daughter, Selma Kirk. A lovely birthday birth-day cake and dinner was enjoyed en-joyed by all. Lady Lions held their meeting at the Hong Kong Cafe on Wednesday, Jan. 22. Approximately ten members attended. Each year the Lady Hons help sponsor the Girl Staters. The 1974 Girl Staters Stat-ers reporting at the meeting we're; Cherie Hiatt, Cheryl. Jones, and JoanLeppink, accompanied ac-companied - by Mrs. Mina Leppink and Mrs. Tamara Jones. Joining the group later la-ter was Mrs. Florence Hiatt. Laura Jimerson was in Marci Bridge celebrated her 9th birthday with a party, Jan. 25, with 34 children and 9 adults present. She is the daughter of Don and Da-nean Da-nean Bridge. Games and a scavenger hunt were enjoyed by the group. Cupcakes, punch, Ice cream, and bub-blegum bub-blegum were served to those present. David Stephen Horlacher celebrated Ms 8-yr. birthday party, Jan. 27, with 7 of his classmates and family present. pres-ent. Attending were Donald Barton, Laura Lee Erlckson, Karen Jenson, Lisa Potter, Stephain Lee, Tori Peterson, and Sean Wilson. Also there were brothers, Gary, Paul, and George Horlacher. Games with prizes were played, al so a ge t -acquainted game and 'drop the hanky' were played. 'Train' and 'American Flag' cakes were served along with ice cream cones and chocolate candies. Mrs. Naomi Hughes spent the weekend at Market in Salt Lake City and also visited with her sister, Oretta Anderson, An-derson, In Ogden. Mrs. Alice Baxter and Mrs. Becky Baxter were recent re-cent visitors in Richfield where they visited with Rev. and Mrs. Medford Hudson and son Mark. Mrs. Alice Baxter and Mrs. Don Heath were in Cedar City last Friday on business. Mrs. Kay Banks and daughter, Marl Jane, were in Cedar City last Friday to get Marl's eyes checked. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Solomon Solo-mon of McGill, Nev. were here Saturday through Monday Mon-day visiting here and in Mlnersville Mln-ersville with friends and relatives. Doris Horlacher attended the all-day session of the Beaver County upholstry classes, Jan. 25, in the Beaver Beav-er Elementary School. She is reupholstering a sofa and matching chair. She was accompanied ac-companied by her husband, David, who had to be there on business. Ronald Mayer of Salt Lake City was here last weekend visiting at the home of his parents, Eugene and Barbara Mayer. 1 George and Nina Marshall were in Salt Lake City last week on a business trip. Accompanying Ac-companying them were Clark and Caroline Dalton and Kay Briscoe. George Marshall has recently re-cently retired from working for the U. P. Railroad. The David R Horlacher family enjoyed a very nice ham and chicken dinner at the home of Eldon and Roberta Ro-berta Stoker and family In Beaver last Sunday afternoon. after-noon. Blake and Terry Madsen and two children were recent re-cent visitors in Fairview, Utah for a weekend visit with Blake's mother, Mrs. Ellis Madsen. Blake enjoyed getting get-ting out and herding some cattle while there. LaMar and Lerleen Lund were In Provo on Jan. 22 to visit at the Provo LDS Temple. Mr. Howard Lund returned recently from Salt Lake City where he underwent major surgery at the LDS Hospital. He is recovering nicely. Ben and Mina Leppink and a friend, Winnie Johnson, were in Cedar City Saturday visiting a friend, Mary Whiting Whit-ing of Caliente, Nev., who was a patient in the hospital. Don and Nancy Horlacher and son, Rickle, phoned Sunday Sun-day evening from Havelock, No. Carolina to tell his folks, Mr. and Mrs. David R Horlacher, of his safe return re-turn last week from Canada, Portugal, Spain, Azores Islands, Is-lands, and the Bahama Islands Is-lands with the U.
