Show Milford Wildlife Elects 75 Officers At their regular January meeting, the Milford Wildlife Wild-life Protective Ass'n. elected elect-ed Ken Patterson to lead the group another year, and Dennis Den-nis Cox as Vice President. Bob Merryweather was reelected re-elected to the job of Secretary-Treasurer, and plans were made for the coming year. Two steak frys are planned, plan-ned, they want to work on membership, keep the' buck only hunt and improve migratory mi-gratory waterfowl and upland game habitat. They plan to request that all of Minersville Miners-ville Reservoir be opened to hunting, except that which is enclosed in the state park. A. B. Merryweather reported re-ported on the state wildlife federation, to which he has been elected as a director. He reported on meeting held on the state, level. .... They also plan to com-. com-. plete more tables, build benches and a barbeque pit at Big Rock recreation area. Three tables were placed last year. Bob Merryweather, secretary sec-retary of the organization, said they would start the year with a meeting and election of officers on Wednesday, Jan. 22. He urged a good turnout to get the year started start-ed off right. Other meetings will be Feb. 26, March 26, April 23, May 24 (a short meeting to plan season's first steak fry on the 28th), June 25, July 23, Aug. 27 (steak fry), Sept. 24, Nov. 12 (nomination of officers), of-ficers), and Dec. 10, election. elec-tion. Almost any suggestion will be tried to bring about fuller participation in the regular meetings, they said. Tell us what you want or what you think the club should work on, they said. Set some goals for the organization and then help us achieve them. |
