Besides preserving historical treasures of the area, and farming, mining, and railroad rail-road equipment, the plan calls for landscaping, and plantings to beautify the library hill. The area Itself is historic in that it Is the site of the first homestead in Milford and also the 10-stamp mill built by the same people who built the Williams Hotel. Other projects suggested are an outdoor shelter house and recreation area near the race track, and an addition to the Milford City Hall to provide council chambers and a meeting room. But nothinghas been settled as yet. Bring your ideas and your matching funds to tonight's meeting and be involved in the final decision. |
