Show OVER $1,000 IN PRIZES: Scent Csif rag Saifetay parade, Santa will take a post in the Beaver County Clinic offices where he can be reached by young and old who wish a last word with him before he makes his Christmas Christ-mas trip. Candy, bagged and . made ' ready by the Lady Lions, and supplied by funds from Milford City and local businesses, will be given to the youngsters. Also a part of the festive weekend will be aChristmas program, under the direction of Mrs. Jo Killam and Mrs. Bonnie Easton. The program, pro-gram, Monday, Dec. 23 at 7:30 p.m., has many fine local lo-cal acts scheduled for the MHS Auditorium. Everyone is Invited. There is no admission ad-mission charge. ' The Historical Society will have a bazaar on Saturday on December 21 starting at 10:00 a.m. in the old Joan's Fashion Fabrics building. They will feature baked goods, jams, jellies, jewelry, jewel-ry, sewing, 'Milford's First 100 Years' centennial book, scratch pads, and many other excellent buys. Also on display dis-play there will be the beautiful beauti-ful quilt to be given away that day. You may also look over the Crissy Doll and G. But wait, Milford's big Christmas weekend doesn't really start there. On Friday, Fri-day, starting at 1:00 p.m., Mllford stores will give away prizes ranging in value from a few dollars to possibly thousands - right In their own stores. It's all part of the Business Ass'n. Christmas Giveaway which will be capped off at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, Sat-urday, when eleven $50.00 cash prizes (a total of $550) will be given away at the Community Christmas Tree. A gala Christmas parade will kick off Saturday's festivities fes-tivities right after Santa Claus circles Milford in a plane piloted by Ben Briscoe. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be escorted to the Mllford Valley Memorial Hospital where they will be Grand Marshalls of the 1:00 p.m. parade, which will consist of floats, the MHS Band, Ti-gerettes Ti-gerettes drill team, and other oth-er marching units. Anyone and everyone, organizations and individuals, who wish to participate in the parade, are asked to be at the hospital at 12:30 p.m. Immediately following the HERE'S MORE ABOUT SANTA give some youngster for Christmas. The in -store drawings on Friday are scheduled 15 minutes min-utes apart so you can be on hand for every one. You need do nothing to win except deposit de-posit the coupons or tickets you have received with each $5.00 cash purchase since Nov. 1 in the boxes provided In the participating store. Tickets drawn for in -store prizes will be returned for the cash prize drawings on Saturday. However, no individual indi-vidual will be eligible for more than one $50.00 cash prize.
