The lucky ticket was held by sheepman Lee Okie -berry. This will help keep his feet warm. The party, a sock hop and bake sale, netted about $200.00. They (the older children) will use this money for their field trip to Salt Lake In May. Bud and Gen Richardson drove to Provo on Friday morning to a Postal meeting meet-ing for Gen, our Postmaster, and then on to Salt Lake City to spend the long weekend. Fred and I drove to Ely on Wednesday, so Fred could attend Lions. We also made eye examination appointments appoint-ments for 2 children. This is a very wonderful service ser-vice that the Lions offer to those that need it. Also while In Ely, Fred had an appointment and had that new fangled acupuncture done on both his knobby knees.
