" f Chad Hollingshead Joyce Martin Bartt Hollingshead Three Get Elks Awards son of Mr. and Mrs. Marshal Mar-shal Hollingshead of Min-ersville Min-ersville and Joyce Martin is. the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Martin of Mil-ford. is an honor student at Cedar Ce-dar City High School where she serves as a cheerleader cheer-leader and as an officer of the L.D. S. seminary program. pro-gram. Bartt Hollingshead, son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hollingshead Hol-lingshead of Minersville ' participates actively in sports as well as academics academ-ics at Beaver High School. He lettered in track and last year represented his school at Boys State. He has been accepted at Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University in the field of accounting. Chad Hollingshead is the Winner of the Elk's MOST VALUABLE STUDENT Scholarship awards for 19-73-74 are Beth Myers of Cedar City and Bartt K. Hollingshead of Minersville as first place girl and boy winners. Also receiving awards were Bryan Larsen of Cedar Ce-dar City, Chad S. Hollingshead Hollings-head of Minersville, Mary McKee of Paragpnah and Joyce Martin of Milford. The First place winners will each receive a $50 bond and all other winners receive re-ceive $25 bonds. The entries en-tries of Beth and Bartt will be forwarded to the state competition. According to Glen Anderson, An-derson, chairman of the scholarship committee, the applicants were judged on the basis of scholarship, citizenship, cit-izenship, personality, leadership, lead-ership, perseverance, resourcefulness, re-sourcefulness, patriotism, general worthiness, and financial need.
