Show Dear Editor, And my many friends of lont? years standing. I want to thank each of you for your sincere concern regarding my loss and damage done to my personal per-sonal belongings here in Milord. Mil-ord. Too many things have been stolen to enumerate them, then to come back from Cedar. City to find my home in its present pre-sent condition is hard to understand. un-derstand. For many years I planned and acquired personal things so that I might be able to enjoy en-joy my retirement years in comfort, and now at my age I can never hope to replace them or repair all the damage done to my home. They know who did it. But why? I say hello to them, and I'm wondering what they think just before they go to sleep each night. Hazel L. Moore Dear Editor: I was interested in the write up in your column regarding the work and financial aid given giv-en by the E.S.A. Sorority toward to-ward the renovation of the costumes cos-tumes of Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. They are members of a very civic minded organization and are to be highly commended commend-ed for the things they do. I wonder if you have ever given a thought to the question of how Santa is able to pass out, so generously, the stockings stock-ings to all the children of the community, as he does. For many years the Lady Lions have sponsored this project. pro-ject. Each year the City makes a donation to them, but they purchase hundreds of stockings at their own expense and fill them on their own time, which is considerable. The City has always been most generous, and, in times of necessity, the business men have also made donations. We were away last Christmas, and were surprised, upon our return, to find no mention in your paper of the Lady Lions' part in this happening. Just thought you might like to know. Mrs. E. L. Smith Dear Editor: On behalf of tthe Savings Bonds Division of the Department Depart-ment of Treasury and in observance ob-servance of National Newspaper News-paper Week, we wish to express deep gratitude for the contribution contri-bution of public service made by your newspaper to the Uni-ed Uni-ed States Savings Bonds Program. Pro-gram. With great humility we ask for your continued cooperation and support. It is our earnest desire that your newspaper will enjoy continued con-tinued success for many years to come.
