Show Mrs. Eleanore Marshall entertained en-tertained the Canasta Club on Monday, Oct. 4 at her home. Prizes were won by Mrs. Marybelle Eyre, Mrs. Florence Wood and Mrs. Edith Marshall. Refreshments were served to members, Mrs. Vie Marshall, Mrs. Merle Gillins, Mrs. Jean Jean Carter, Mrs. Dona Carter, Mrs Florence Wood, Mrs. Edith Marshall and guest, Mrs. Mary-belle Mary-belle Eyre. American Legion Auxiliary was held Wednesday, Oct. 6th at the home of Mrs. Aletha Gillins. A business meeting was held with President, Mrs. Frieda Wood in charge. Refreshments Re-freshments were served to the members attending. Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Hol-lingshead, Hol-lingshead, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Murray with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Pitchforth. Mrs. Edith Marshall and three children spent Saturday in Ogden, Utah. Members of the D.U.P Camps in Minersville attending the convention in Milford last week were, Mrs. Daisy Gillins, Mrs. Ada Edwards, Mrs. Lily Lamb-son, Lamb-son, Mrs. Bessie Pearson and Wynona, Mrs. Virgene Jameson, Jame-son, Mrs. Effie Jameson. Mrs. Madge Carter. Mrs. Ella Wood, Mrs. Lucy Williams, Mrs. Beu-lah Beu-lah Wood, Mrs. Druce Carter and Mrs. Vella Stephenson. Visitors at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pryor and Mrs. Imanda Nolder the past week were, Mr. Fred Pryor, Orem; Mrs Donna Boyter, Winston, Ore.; and Mr. and Mrs. Sim Murdock, Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Dohn Martin have been vacationing in Calif. In Hollister, they visited former for-mer residents, Mr and Mrs. Frank Pryor. Mrs. Imanda Nolder will spend the winter month in Milford with her daughter, Mrs. Pat Williams. Albrecht and Mr. and Mrs. Ty Gillins were in Salt Lake attending at-tending UEA. Miss Margie Marshall, Miss Annette Truman, Miss Kathy Gillins and Miss Janet Marshall Mar-shall were home from schools over the weekend to visit with their parents. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Wood and Denise were in Salt Lake City Friday on business. Mrs. Lorna Craw was in Salt Lake over the weekend to bring her husband Jack home. He has been a patient at the L.D.S. hospital Mr. and Mrs. Donald Pitch-forth Pitch-forth and two children, of Bountiful, visited over the weekend with his sister, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Wood and family. fam-ily. PTA meeting was held Mon. Oct. 11th at the Minersville school. Officers for the coming year were elected: President Pam McMullin, Vice Pres. Jeniel Dalton, Sec. and Treas., Ann Hutchingson, Meeting was turned over to Principal Brent Hawkins and school policies were discussed. Refreshments were served. Mrs. Aletha Gillins spent the weekend visiting her children in northern Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Goldie Marshall Mar-shall spent the weekend in |
