Show Four Suspended, School Put On Year Probation The Region Eight principals and superintendents held a hearing in Cedar City on Tuesday Tues-day to consider the charges resulting from last Wednesday's game with Beaver. Two boys were booted out of the game, and thr?e plays later the game "'as called whe.n two more Milfnrd players play-ers allegedly struck two referees. ref-erees. After considering depositions from three referees, and hearing hear-ing testimony in Milford's defense de-fense from Supt. Bliss and Principal Long, the group handed down this decision. 1. Milford High Scchool will be on probation for all activities activ-ities for the remainder of the scchool year. Any serious infraction during dur-ing that period would bring suspension of all activities. 2. The team will write an official apology to the Southern South-ern Utah Officials Association. 3. Personal apologies will be written by the two players striking officials to those officials of-ficials who were struck. The two players striking officials of-ficials are suspended f"r 'vo weevs, (they will be eligible for the Kanab game). 4. The two players kicked out of the Beaver game are suspended sus-pended for one week. 4. The Kanab Game (Mil-ford's (Mil-ford's last home game of the season) will be played in Cedar Ced-ar City, on a neutral field. |
