Show have returned from Salt Lake where their son Mitch underwent under-went major surgery Feb. 17th at the University Medical Center. Cen-ter. Minersville M-Mcn won the Stake Championship and will now play for the region in Cedar City, Feb. 26 and 27. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Goodwin of Ely have been visiting in town. Mrs. Florence Wood 368-2061 Mrs. Vie Marshall entertained entertain-ed the pinochle club Monday Feb. 15th. Prizes were won by Mrs. Dora Carter, Mrs. Margaret Margar-et Williams and Mrs. Mary-belle Mary-belle Eyre. Refreshments were served to 8 members. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Lurth of Los Angeles visited her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wood over the weekend. ' Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Eyre and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gibson have been visiting in Calif. Dodie Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heber Davis was honored at a party on her 9th birthday, Feb. 10th. Mr. and Mrs. Lou Griffiths have been visiting their daughter daugh-ter in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Stan McKnight have been visiting in town this past week. Mrs. Gwen Pryor, Mrs. Rema Limb and Mrs. Pat Williams took Mrs. In Nolder to Ely last weekend to spend some time with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Byron Limb. Mrs. Ella Wood has been in Salt Lake caring for her sister Mrs. Etta Rollins, who has been seriously ill. Matt Pearson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Pearson celebrated his 7th birthday on Feb. 16th. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Garrett and family of Rapid City, S. D. visited last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Newell Marshall. Mr. and Mrs. Steven Griffiths Grif-fiths and son of Mt. Carmel Junction spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Williams. Jeanette Hollingshead, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Hollingshead, celebrated her 10th birthday, Feb. 21st. Her sister Katy celebrated her 13th birthday, Feb. 22nd.
