Toby Mathers rolled his car o.n the way to Ely, Nev. Luckily Luck-ily he wasn't hurt. The Power Crew had to quit work on Friday due to the heavy snow fall. Mrs. Pete Aquiso received a phone call from her son, Jerry Ambrose in Hawaii. He was one of the recovery crew to pick up Apollo 14. Heddi Coffman went to California Cali-fornia to visit with her sister Maudy. Vanda Baker is running the post office while Heddi is away. Patsy Baker, who is a Senior at Ely High, (was home for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Terry and Mrs. Terry's sister, Enid, went to Reno, Nevada then on to California to visit with relatives. rela-tives. Mrs. Lloyd Bell is watching the store for the Terrys while they're gone. Mary Tanner went to Ely on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Hughes were in Baker this week visiting visit-ing with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Ridder have moved back ti Garrison Miss Connie Robinson was home for the weekend. Mrs. Bryon Robinson will soon be coming home to Baker. She has been visiting with family fam-ily and friends in Salt Lake City and is now visiting relatives rela-tives in Ely, Nev. E. J. Commings went to Salt Lake City Wednesday night to attend to business. Mrs. Commings and daughter went to St. George on Friday. Jay Ambrose, who is a Senior Sen-ior at Ely High, was home for the weekend. Mrs. Leona Rowley from Eu-'reka, Eu-'reka, Nevada came out Sunday night to visit with her brother, Ladd Davies and Pat and family. fam-ily. LaRue Rowley has made several sev-eral trips to Cedar City to visit vis-it with her father, Henry Ramsey, Ram-sey, who is in the Cedar hospital. hospi-tal. She was accompanied by Mrs. Ava Baker who has been staying with Mrs. Rowley. Meda Retterer from Reno, Nevada, Ella Belleville from Gabbs, Nevada and her daughter daugh-ter Paula Kiirkby from Anaconda, Anacon-da, Montana were here visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Rowley, Row-ley, then went on Cedar City to visit with their father, Henry Hen-ry Ramsey in the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Savant from Ely and Alice Merrill from Ohio were here Sunday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Ce-cil Rowley and Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Dearden. Saturday morning we had a foot of snow and two to three foot drifts. It kept the snow plows busy nearly all of Saturday Satur-day and Saturday night. La Von Rowley assisted Cecil Rowley and Austin Williams with the snow plowing and rescuing cars out of snow drifts. One car was completely burried south of Martin's on the county road. Donna Richardson and fiance Al Corey were Monday visitors of Donna's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Richardson and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gonder were in Salt Lake last Wednesday Wed-nesday to attend a legislative banquet. We would like to know what's going on in the northern nor-thern part of Snake Valley??? Linda.
