Chester Wheeler was sustained sustain-ed new branch president and Emerson Gonder, first counselor Carl Deardon, second counselor. 89th BIRTHDAY FETED A celebration was held in honor of Harry Hesselgesser on Sunday afternoon to celebrate his 89th birthday. Those in attendance besides family members were George Robison, Ava Baker, Claudia Bellander, Al Littledyke and Heddie Kaufman. Family members mem-bers were Mr. and Mrs. Phil Hesselgesser and family, Mr. and Mrs. Buck Hesselgesser and family, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Baker, and Mr. and Mrs. Boise Hesselgesser. Jeannett Griggs went to Washington D. C. to attend a power meeting. Joe Griggs went to the Western West-ern part of Nevada on a forest service assignment. Mrs. Chub Richardson and ...Mrs. John Whitson spent one day last week at Brianhead, . skiing. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fry went to Delta Saturday. Ellen High was in the Baker area visiting with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Baker returned to Current Creek on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Hinkle were Ely visitors Saturday. Fawn Dean Commings went to Salt Lake City to be with her daughter Barbara, while she undergoes minor surgery. Rick Jorden and Jerry Sands moved back from Current Creek. They are bringing poles into Spring Valley. Mr. and Mrs. Boise Hessel gesser toook their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hesselgesser on a trip to Tucson Ariz. Mrs. Heddie Kaufman spent several days in Ely, Nevada taking care of business and visiting with family and friends. Barbara Gregson, Glenn Hen-kel, Hen-kel, Lillian Brumbley and Lucy Frey went to Current Creek Wednesday to celebrate Ruth Hildestad's birthday. Heddie Kaufman's neice, Sonny Roberts and family have been out visiting with her. Terry Parker from Delta spent some time visiting in Gandy. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Moore spent the weekend visiting in Gandy with Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Bates. Judy Moore plans on spending a week with her parents. par-ents. We are glad to hear that Norma Bates is recovering from a recent illness. Mr. and Mrs. A. Christensen's daughter. Marie of Gold Hill is recovering from a severe injury in-jury she received when she fell from the top of her bunk bed while sleeping. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Timm went to Ely Sunday on business. busi-ness. Mr. and Mrs. Bronson's house in Trout Creek bumed down two weeks ago. It was the big white home as you left town headed north. Mrs. Mary Hunter Hunt-er has been helping Mrs. Bron-son Bron-son get settled in the old May-field May-field place. Mr. and Mrs. Gale Parker went to Delta Monday to attend at-tend a cattleman's meeting. Richard Timm is in the Veteran's Vet-eran's hospital in Salt Lake City for a major operation. His wife, Linda Timm is staying stay-ing with his sister, Helen Wat-kns Wat-kns in Salt Lake. Mrs. Dorey Sabey came out from Delta to spend the weekend week-end with her husband in Cal-lao. Cal-lao. Irl Timm's truck caught on fire and burned up. One of the big ore trucks that Eugene Timm has hauling ore for him out of Gold Hill went through Ferber Wash bridge. No one was hurt. Blake Probart took the truck driver to Ibapah to phone their home office in Ely. Margaret Richardson and a friend Suzie Aagard from Las Vegas spent the weekend visiting visit-ing with Margaret's parents Mr. and Mrs. Bud Richardson in Garrison. Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Gonder Gon-der went to Delta Tuesday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dearden and family went to Delta last Wednesday to watch their son Thomas Dearden in the Delta High School wrestling matches. Mrs. Linda Mathers has gone back to her home in Duchesne to spend some time, with her family. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene T.imm spent Thursday night visiting with Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Rowley. They left Friday morning morn-ing for Lindon, Utah to take care of some business there. |
