Show BIRDS OF PREV SANCTUARY PLANNED The Bureau of Land Management Manage-ment has given public notice of its Intention to designate 26,000 acres of public lands as birds of prey sanctuary. The proposed "Snake River Birds of Prey Natural Area" would cover con-yon con-yon walls, rims and floor of a 30 mile stretch of the Snake River in Idaho. A high concentration of golden gold-en eagles and prairie falcons inhabit in-habit the area, and it has been the locale for two nationally televised films. In making this proposal, the BL.M joins other state and federal fed-eral agencies in the protection and perpetuation of these endangered en-dangered birds. Sportsmen and plinkers are reminded that all birds are protected under Utah law. |
