Show BENIAH SHOWS SPARK THAT MAY IGNITE TIGERS The Tiger JV's pulled one out of the fire in the last few seconds Friday night to win over the Parowan Rams 43-42 and the Varsity with a cold spell in the first few minutes of the first quarter lost the same night in what should be classed as good contests con-tests and evenly matched teams. The brightest spot was finally getting a chance to see Travis Eeniah in action. Travis, an indian boy, and a transfer from Cedar City who is living with the Coy Williams has been ineligible because of his transfer status until last Friday's game. He's got great hands, is a scrambler and though only in for the last half Friday against the Rams, picked up 14 points and looked like he might be the spark to set the Tigers on fire, and none too soon, with the last game before tournaments tourna-ments just 14 days away. The Tigers got the first two points but the Rams picked up 9 of their own before Milford could get the lid off again. From there on the game was fairly even with quarter scores at 11-21, half 25-36 and at the three-quarter mark 39-45. Milford pulled as close as four points a couple of times but couldn't hold it. The final score was 49-60. The Tigers play at Enterprise this Friday. |
