Show SCOTT YARDLEY ENLISTS, STARTS BASIC TRAINING Your local Army Recruiters, SFC Stuart and SSG Stastny, informed us today that Scott Yardley enlisted in the United States Army for a three year enlistment. From over 300 Technical Tech-nical Schools, Scott picked Automotive Aut-omotive Repair School which runs for 15 weeks and 2 days. During this course he will become be-come familiar with the construction con-struction of vehicles and be trained in the operations, maintenance, main-tenance, diagnosis, and correction correc-tion of mechanical, fuel and electrical systems; malfunctions of wheel and track vehicle engines; en-gines; familiarization with operation, oper-ation, disassembly, inspection, reassembly, and adjustment of powertrain components. Scott will start basic training at Fort Lewis, Washington and - then after Graduation he will travel to the U.S. Army Ordnance Ord-nance Center located on the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. His Automotive Re- pair School will start on the 16th of April. He is a 1970 Graduate of Beaver Bea-ver High School and was residing resid-ing with his parents, Corrine and Donald Yardley. Scott was working at Terry's Auto Parts in Beaver, but resided in Milford Mil-ford where the Yardley's have their home, prior to enlisting in the United States Army. |
