Show L"?- - e Mr. and Mrs. Duard Evans returned Monday from a week's trip to the northern part of the state. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Howard Sherwood and family in American Fork, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Evans and family in Pleasant Grove, and Duard's brother and sister in law Mr. and Mrs. Bill Evans, joined the group for a family get-together. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Doug Gilliam last week end were their children, Fred and Adele Gilliam and children of Salt Lake, and Scott and Shanna Anderson and family of Buena Park, Cal. Mr. and Mrs. Max Root announce an-nounce the birth of their first great-grandchild. A son was born March 3 in Provo to Dennis Den-nis and Janet Ann Root Moore. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Root of Provo. Mrs. Max Root will visit the family after the mother and baby are released from the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Baker of Salt Lake were at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Baker. Mrs. Lee Baker was attending special classes at SUSC. Mrs. Irene Stewart and son James were in Joseph Sunday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Allison and Mrs. Lucy Mills and children. e Mrs. Edythe Grimshaw is spending a week in Las Vegas with her son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Far-liaw. Far-liaw. e Mrs. Helen Clements is in Salt Lake this week visiting relatives. Scott Sharp of Jackson, Cal., is visitng an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. David Erickson. Scott is vacationing prior to entering military service, e Three Milford boys, Doug Tait, David Stewart and Mike Yardley, graduation from National Na-tional Guard boot camp March 6 Attending the exercises from Milford will be Mr. and Mrs. Mel Tait, daughter Karen and son Garland, and Doug's girl friend, Ailene Corey. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Boyter were in Salt Lake last week end, where Mr. Boyter received medical treatment. Mrs. Maxine Barton spent last week in Salt Lake visiting her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Mayer. O Mr. and Mrs. James H. Anderson An-derson have moved to Buena Park, Cal. Their sons and daughters in law, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Anderson and two children chil-dren and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Anderson of Buena Park came to help them move, e Carl Rummler is in Southern South-ern California on a business trip. O Mr. and Mrs. Norman Jiles have moved into the Maurice Gray house at 25 South 500 West. Mr. Jiles is employed as an electrician by Shield Development Co. Sonny Walker, who has been living in Whittier, Cal., is now living with an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest McDowell. Mc-Dowell. 6 Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Larsen of Provo and Mrs. Myrtle Neilsen of Leamington spent several days visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ed Holland and Mr. and Mrs. Rolan Larsen. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Patterson of Salt Lake spent the week end at the home of their son, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Patterson. Another son, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Patterson of Miners-ville, Miners-ville, joined the family Thursday Thurs-day evening. Stanley Hollingshead is home from Logan, where he has been attending the U S U. j O Bob and Pat Davis and children chil-dren of Ely were here visiting parents Mr. and Mrs. Dan Ferguson Fer-guson and Mrs. Mabel Turner, and other relatives and friends. O Roland and Amie Culver of Ogden were here over the week end, visiting Gary and Marsha Applegate and Rolan and Rae Larsen. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Pitch-forth Pitch-forth and children Janice and Donald Jr. of Bountiful were here to visit his mother, Mrs. Theressa Pitchforth. Accompanied Accom-panied by Mrs. Florence Wood and son Bryan of Minersville they motored to St. George to vist Mrs. Paul M. Crosby. Dell and Dorothy Newdi-gate Newdi-gate of Salt Lake spent the week end here. Carlyle Stott of Logan spent last week end at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nel-son Stott . |
