Show from an illness. Mrs. Gladys Myers is in Cedar Ce-dar City visiting a son in law and daughter, Dr. and Mrs. Kent Myers and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Dotson and daugther Mrs. Rea Carter of Cedar City attended a birthday birth-day observance in Salt Lake Sunday for Mrs. Dotson's mother, moth-er, Mrs. Mabel Therning. Twenty Twen-ty relatives were present. Mrs. Vera Carter accompanied the Dotson's to Salt Lake and visiter vis-iter her husband Newell, and son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. John Carter and baby. trr 'in urn "t " Camille Baker, 2 month old daughter of Roland Royce and Sylvia Blake Baker died March 1 in Salt Lake of undetermined causes. Funeral services were' conducted Tuesday in Salt Lake. She was a great-grand-of Salt Lake and a franddaugh-ter franddaugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baker of Paradise. Ellery Tremaine is at his Minersville summer home. Mrs. Tremaine will join him at a later date. The two spend the . winters in St. George. Mrs. Vella Stephenson has returned from Salt Lake where she spent several months while her daughter, Maurine Kearney, recuperated from auto accident injuries. O Chad Kelsey, 7, son of Emma Jane Kelsey, celebrated his birth anniversary last Thursday. Thurs-day. Bryan Wood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Wood, had a birthday birth-day party Feb. 24 celebrating his 4th birthday. The Cow Palace Dairy Barn reelected their 1969 officers, Vern Wood, president; Jeff Marshall, vice president; Garold Eyre, secretary; Ross Marshall and Dale Eyre, trustees. Mr. and Mr. Donald Pitch-forth Pitch-forth and family of Bountiful called on his brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Wood, last week. Jason Monroe Iverson, son of Monroe and Joyce Goff Iverson, was blessed, and Dodie Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heber Davis, was con-lirmed con-lirmed a member of the LDS Church last Sunday. Mrs. Jeff Marshall, received re-ceived the Tenderfoot Scout award last Wednesday. O Mrs. Florence Wood entertained enter-tained her pinochle club last week. Receiving prizes were Merle Gillins, Carla Eyre and Margaret Williams. Others enjoying en-joying the occasion were June Marshall, Vie Marshall, Edith Marshall, Joan Eyre, Mary-belle Mary-belle Eyre, Donna Carter, Jean Carter and Dorothy Wood. Bill and Margaret Dalton have returned from a Southern California business trip. Val Carter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kent Carter, will return from Thailand, where he has been serving wi'h the armed forces, on March 8. O Joe and Lois Pearson of Las Vegas visited her mother, Mrs. Inez Carter, and accompanied Max Carter to Salt Lake to see his wife, Anna Rae, who is a patient at University Medical Center. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Cor-bridge Cor-bridge spent a week in Logan-dale Logan-dale at the home of a daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Tex Richardson, Richard-son, and visited grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Stan McKnight attended a land management meeting in Fillmore Monday and left Wednesday Wed-nesday for Midvale to spend a week with his wife. Ira Short of Grants Pass, Ore., was a visitor at the Stan McKnight home .while here on business. Mr. and Mrs. Sim Murdock of Cedar City visited their nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pryor, last Sunday ,and also her sister, Mrs. Patricia Williams Wil-liams in Milford. Jule Gillins is recovering |
