Show I INJURED WORKER ! 1 I - v 'Mi j" h- Y J Y; -j Y Eugene McKee GENE McKEE HURT AT LEGION HALL Eugene McKee Legionnaire, is in the Veterans Hospital in Palt Lake for repair of a fractured frac-tured hip, suffered when he fell from a ladder while working work-ing at the Legion Hall last Friday. Mr. McKee, building chairman chair-man for the local Legion post.v had been working on the new Legion Home and Youth Recreation Rec-reation Center for more than a year, volunteering his time end talents to get the building build-ing remodeled in time for the dedication, set for this Saturday. Satur-day. While placing ceiling tile he fell from a ladder, slightly injuring his right arm and severely se-verely fracturing his right hip. He crawled to the doorway ..of. the . building ; to summon help. Dr. David A. Symond was called and supervised his transfer to the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital by City Marshal Eddie Patterson, Charles Char-les Atkin and Steve Williams. X-rays showed the hip to be fractured, and Mr. McKee was taken to the Veterans Hospital Friday afternoon by Steve Williams and Ross Lang. The fracture was repaired Wednesday, and at press time Thursday the hosptial reported that Mr. McKee was "just doing real well." |
