Show Dear Citizens of Beaver County: ! would like to publicly glve thanks for the excellent support sup-port given the 1967 March of Dhnes fund raising campaign. U was very gratifying to see the total amount of your donations do-nations to this worthy cause. Siren with birth defects are the recipients of these donations. dona-tions. My co-workers in -the county are to be commended for their untiring efforts in organizing the campaign in Milford, Minersville and Beaver Beav-er I would like to personally pay tribute to the voluntary workers in these communities who gave much time and effort ef-fort in personally contacting the people and soliciting their donations to the March of Dimes. Ina Norton of Milford, Marshall Mar-shall Hollingshead of Minersville Miners-ville and Patrick Lindsay of Beaver chairmaned their respective re-spective communities. Nell Smith of Beaver was the Marching Mothers coordinator. After expenses, Beaver Coun ty receives half of the funds collected for local use. The remainder goes to the March of Dimes Birth Defects Center in the Primary Children's Hos. pital in Salt Lake. Similar centers are located thruout the nation and do a marvelous work with children needing specialized services. I sincerely hope this report is beneficial to the residents of our county.
