Mr. Ed was quite flabbergasted when he recognized their pictuers in the latest issue of the Utah Publisher. And Mr. Ed received an interesting in-teresting communication this week from the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. Seems they're cleaning out their old files and wanted to know if Judge Smith was still interested inter-ested in a warrant for the ar-lest ar-lest of one Harry Cartwright, charged with forgery and uttering ut-tering a forged instrument. The warrant was signed by Herbert Nichols, Justice of the Peace, and was dated June 20, 1934. Guess it's about time the L A sheriff was cleaning out his files. A "Search for Peace" commemorative com-memorative U S Postage stamp will be issued during this year, it has been announced by the Postmaster General. The stamp will honor the theme of the 50th anniversary of Lions International, and will be issued to coincide with the Lions International Convention in Chicago in July. |
