Show Mr. and Mrs. Llcyd Mayer spent two weeks in Los Angelas and Riverside areas of California. Califor-nia. Lloyd had nasal surgery at White Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. Max Baxter report re-port their grandson and wife Mr. and Mrs. Jeffery Paice of Van Nuys, Calif, are the new parents of a boy born on Jan. 16. He has been named Erick and is their first child. Amanda Oxley returned to the Church College of Hawaii in Laie, Hawaii last Thursday after spendi.ng the semester break here visiting her mother, Mrs. Beatrice Oxley. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Payne and family will be spending the weekend in Salt Lake City where they will attend the Open Op-en House honoring his grandmother, grand-mother, Sara Payne, who will be 100 years young on Feb. 7th. Mrs. S. E. Pitchforth accompanied accom-panied her daughter and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Wood to Provo last Saturday to tour the new temple. Max and Larue Williams, daughter Lori and sons, Bruce and Demy of Salt Lake City were visitors at the home of his father, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Williams, last weekend. Denny will be going into the Air Corp February 13. He just recently returned from an LDS Spanish-American mission in Texas. Visitors at the Henry Roper home this weekend and to attend at-tend the Open House for Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Campeau, were their daughter, Wilma Spring from La Sal and their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Spring from Moab. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rose were in Caliente recjntly to visit her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Gal.iouer ai.d brother, Ralph Paiterson. Visiting at the home of Mrs. Margaret Murdock are her son, Robert E. Murdock of Cherry Hill, Calif, a.nd her daughter, Mrs. S. J. Dunkley of Santa Rosa, Calif. Mrs. J. F. Ogburn, Yuba City, Calif, is here visiting Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Murdock. Mr. Ennis Hoops of Beaver visited last weeKend at tha home of Mr and Mrs. Norman Murdock. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Murdock Mur-dock got together with a group of old school friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bradshaw in Manderlield. They all enjoyed reminiscing and looking at old school pictures. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. McCarrey from Salt Lake City were down last weekend to visit her parents, par-ents, Mr and Mrs. Hal Norton. J. L. and Barbara are students' at the University of Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Max Baxter and Mr. and Mrs. Fred O'Leary drove to Moroni and Nephi to visit relatives last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Price have been visiting the Bill Gillies Gil-lies family at Rancho Cordova, Calif. Sunday they enjoyed the Gold Rush Parade at Coloma. |
