Show Billie Osborne drove to Milford Mil-ford Saturday on business. She al-o visited Maude Stoker and friends at the hospital and enjoyed en-joyed dinner at the home of her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Tom James. The Garrison PTA held a movie of "It Takes Power" and "Freeway Phobia" Friday evening eve-ning at the school house. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Claridge of Elko Visited with friends in the area Monday. Zerma Tripp is in Salt Lake at this writing to be with her daughter while she undergoes surgery. Inez Tripp spent a week l.n Lehi visiting with her family. She returned home Sunday evening eve-ning with her granddaughter, Jean Tripp, who was visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Georgie Tripp in Lehi over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Timm were in Salt Lake Monday. They spent the night with their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Sorenson and granddaughter, grand-daughter, Candace. Tuesday they all went through the new LDS temple in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Timm visited with Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Bates and attended church in Gandy Sunday morning before going to Garrison to visit their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. LaVo.n Rowley and children. child-ren. Monday morning they left for Gabbs, Nev. to purchase a concentrate table. Cory Timm of Salt Lake is staying with his grandfather, Charley Timm, and working with the survey crew. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Osborne were visitors of Mrs. Carol Stewart, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Stewart and Billie's neice, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Smith of PioAe, Nev. They also attended LDS church services there. Vera Deardcn and Billie Osborne Os-borne were in Ely Friday evening eve-ning to attend the program at the LDS Stake house. They also al-so visited with Glenn's mother, Clara Callico. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Eldridgs recently returned home from Paradise, Calif, where they visited vis-ited with relatives. Most of the power crew have moved to Baker and Garrison. Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Gon-der Gon-der and two children, Kathleen and Keven, LaRue Rowley and granddaughter Kim and Dar-leen Dar-leen Whitlock were in Provo Monday to go through the new temple. Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Rowley and children, Ross Johnson and Sam enjoyed Sunday dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Ce-cil Rowley. Vivian Dearden and Lee Whitlock were in Delta Tuesday Tues-day on business. Ronald Bates of Idaho and Dale Bates of Ely visited at the home of LaVon Rowley Saturday Satur-day evening. Don Hesselgesser of Fallon, Nev. visited at the Hesselgesser residence on Friday. Hans Schulteis is back in Baker visiting with old friends. Pat Davies is back to work at Lehman Caves now. She has recovered from her broken ankle and is again taking tours through the cave. Mr. Long is up and around now after he broke his leg. Mr. and Mrs. Dell Young visited her sister in Fillmore on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Goodwin were visitors Monday with their neioe Arvilla Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ingram In-gram were Monday visitors in Garrison. LaRue Rowley and grandson Rett Rowley were accompanied to Cedar City by Arvilla Williams Wil-liams Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Richardson Richard-son were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dee Heckethorn on Wednesday evening at the Fireside Fire-side Inn in Ely. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Heckethorn Hecke-thorn were in Denver last week to attend the Cattleman's convention. con-vention. Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Dearden and Mr. and Mrs. Bud Richardson Richard-son had dinner in Ely Sunday. Earl Edgar was a visitors on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Viv-ian Dearden. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gonder attended a power meeting in Ely Wednesday. Vicky Jensen, a senior at Delta High spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Jenso.n. An Artex party was held at the home of Noma Bates on Monday evening. Ronald Bates of Idaho is in Gandy visiting with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Bates, and family. Dale Bates of Ely also spent the weekend in Gandy. Mr. and Mrs. Lanny Bates and children went to Fallon, Nev. Wednesday to visit with Peggy's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Baker and family. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Sampson spent a day visiting with Mrs. Sampson's mother, Inez Tripp, in Callao. They plan on spending spend-ing a month vacation in Arizona Ari-zona and Texas visiting Duane's relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Tripp and grandchildren, Debbie and Andy, were in Provo Thursday to go through the new temple. Recently 24 of Inez Tripp's children and grandchildren visited visi-ted with her at her home in: Callao. David Bagley was in Colorado Colo-rado last week to attend a cat-tlemens cat-tlemens meeting. Jess and Vivian Nelson of Trout Creek visited with Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Timm at their mill on Thursday. Inez Tripp's two sons-in-law, Glen Peterson and La Vere Downs and sons, visited with her recently. Cecil Woodman of Gold Hill visited with Eugene Timm at his mill on Thursday. Zerma Tripp's daughter and family j-pent the weekend with them at the 6-mile Ranch. |
