Show Cassie McKnight of Salt Lake will be visiting relatives and friends in the area for another week. Doug and Judy Erickson and family and Ray and Connie Fails of Beaver spent Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Fails. Sherrie Lynn Marshall was down from Provo to spend the weekend with her parents, Lee and Lynnea Marshall. MIA Stake leadership meeting meet-ing will be held this Thursday at Minersville at 7:30 p.m. Daughters of Utah Pioneers had their meeting Wednesday at the home of Beulah Wood. It was conducted by Captain Daisy Gillins, lesson was given by Beulah Wood; "Early Woolen Wool-en and Cotton Mills." Cassie McKnight was a guest. A light dessert was served by the hostess host-ess to .nine members. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Davis of Henderson, Nev. visted Beverly's Bever-ly's sisters and other relatives one day last week. Jetta Larsen has returned home from Salt Lake. She has been receiving medical care at the medical center and is now feeling greatly improved. Lettie Gibson has been visiting visit-ing her son and family in Denver, Den-ver, Colo, for the past week. Woodrow Colbert of Los Angeles An-geles has been in town visiting his many friends. He is a former form-er resident. Arshal and Lela Evans drove back to Salt Lake with their daughter and husband, Al and LaRee Moran. While there Lela had a medical check-up. Their other daughters from Beaver drove up to visit with a brother, bro-ther, Wayne and Janette Evans of Denver. They all enjoyed a family dinner at the Morans. Mr. and Mrs. Almon Mosher left Wednesday for California where they will visit their children chil-dren for a month. Gary and Jane Blackner of Provo spent the weekend visiting visit-ing Daisel and Wilma Davis and also Gary's folks in Greenville. Floyd and Beulah Wood traveled tra-veled to Kearns this week for Beulah to have a medical check up. They are staying with Grant and Ruth Wood. Truman and Merle Bradfield are in Calif, visiting their daughter and family, the D. J. Smiths. Wilma Davis had dinner guests Monday evening, the oc-cassion oc-cassion being her birthday. A delicious meal was served to Cassie McKnight of Salt Lake, Clair and Helen Gillins of Mil-ford, Mil-ford, Shirleen and Gary Bed-dingfield Bed-dingfield of Cedar City, Goldie, Hilda Marshall, Gladys Myers, Nettie Myers, Jack and Pam McMullin and her husband Daisel. Dai-sel. all of Minersville. Dick and Sue Davis and boys of Beaver visited Sunday with Newell and Vera Carter. Dora McMullin of Beaver and Daisel and Wilma Davis spent Saturday evening visiting Jack and Pam McMullin, it being be-ing Jack's birthday. Charles, Vergene, Delbert, Ef-fie Ef-fie and Bernard Jameson spent Saturday in Leeds and Huri-cane. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thompson Thomp-son of Henderson have been here visiting. They will soon be moving back to their home here. American Legion Auxilary had their regular meeting Wednesday Wed-nesday night at Helen Davis's. After business was taken care of the nomination of new officers offi-cers was held. After being contacted, con-tacted, the new officers will be installed at the next meeting. Refreshments were served to 12 members. Vella Stephenson is in Ogden visiting her brother, Norman Gillins, who is recuperating from surgery. Mrs. Connie Cartwright of Ely, Nev. has been here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Gillins and sister, Wendy Lee. Clarence and Wanda Cor-bridge Cor-bridge went to Salt Lake to see their grandson Michael Cor-bridge, Cor-bridge, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clair "Jr." Corbridge, board a plane for Bolivia, where he will serve a mission for the LDS church. Wilford and Alvaretta Robinson Robin-son of Beaver spent one day this week visiting their sisters and brothers. Ruben and Emily Dotson had their grandchildren visiting for a week. They are children of Nicklaus and Colleen Dotson of Beaver. Carlos Bohn of Las Vegas has been her visiting his parents, Andy and Lola Bohn. Speakers in Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday night were Jill Al-brecht, Al-brecht, Lila Truman, Dan Goff, Pres. Gail Van Tassell and High Councilman, Darwin Marshall. Bruce Dotson, son of Keith and LaNae Dotson, was baptised bap-tised Friday evening and was confirmed a member of the church by an uncle, Ruben Dot-son. birthday party at her home on April 6. She was 9 years old and is the daughter of Marshall and Nellie Hollingshead. Ryan Marshall, son of Tex and Vie Marshall, celebrated his 7th birthday with a party on April 5. Newell and Vera Carter was in Cedar City Saturday to spend the day at Neal and Margaret Carter's. There were quite a few of the race fans attending the horse races in St. George over the weekend. Canasta Club had their party Wednesday at Jean Carter's. The prizes were won by Edith Marshall, Florence Wood and Eleanore Marshall. Heber and Kathleen Davis and Vern and Florence Wood attended the Jeep Patrol and Jeepettes meeting in Milford on Thursday.
